Puriti Detox & Wellness Retreat at The Nai Harn, Phuket

The Nai Harn sits on a hillside above Nai Harn Beach in the south of Phuket, about 45 minutes from the airport. The Puriti program is run by the resort's spa team, and everything happens on property: meals, treatments, and access to the fitness centre and pools. You're not shuttled anywhere; the whole reset takes place within the hotel.

Days are structured but not packed. A typical day includes two spa or wellness treatments, a light detox breakfast, a raw lunch, and a detox dinner, with time in between for the fitness centre, the pool, or the beach down the hill. The menu avoids meat, dairy, wheat, refined sugar, alcohol and caffeine, and leans on raw vegetables, sprouts, fresh juices, and enzyme-rich foods. Guests on the program eat from a dedicated menu rather than the main restaurant buffet.

The spa treatments are the centrepiece. Depending on how many days you book, you'll have a set number of massages, body wraps, scrubs or facials included. The spa also runs in-room treatments if you'd rather not leave your room. Treatment rooms are on the property, so you walk from your room rather than travelling.

The program is led by the resort's spa and wellness team rather than a single named practitioner. The hotel also has a fitness centre, which guests on the program can use freely.

What separates this from a standalone detox retreat is that you're in a full-service hotel. You have a choice of rooms, several restaurants for anyone travelling with you who isn't on the program, a rooftop bar, and the beach a short walk away. That makes it easier if you're coming with a partner who wants a normal holiday while you do the detox, or if you want to tack a few detox days onto a longer Phuket stay.
