Home › Retreats › Rocky Mountain Reset Retreat for Women in Transition
United States · 4 days · From USD 819
The retreat runs Thursday to Sunday at a four-bedroom, three-bath log cabin surrounded by tall pines in Winter Park, Colorado. It sleeps eight guests, and the location is about a mile from downtown Winter Park and a mile from the ski resort. Denver International Airport is a two-hour drive; Uber and Lyft don't serve the area, so you'll need a rental car or a shuttle (Home James or Grand Mountain Rides). Once you're in town, there's a free bus service.
Thursday afternoon is arrival and check-in, followed by a meet-and-greet and orientation at 3:00 p.m. The opening ceremony is at 4:30 p.m., then the group goes to Terrain Taco for dinner at 6:00 p.m. (on your own tab) and finishes with group sound healing and meditation at 7:30 p.m.
Friday is the fullest day. It starts with a group cacao ceremony, morning yoga, and silent meditation at 8:00 a.m. Then there are lectures: Brain Health & Nutrition with author Kimberley Wilson at 10:00 a.m., a session on energetic footprint with Allison at 11:00 a.m., lunch at Terrain Taco at noon, a nature walk and journaling at 1:00 p.m., a lecture on detoxing and fasting at 2:00 p.m., a breathwork-as-emotional-regulation session at 3:00 p.m., hypnotherapy with Lori Hammond at 4:00 p.m., and a group guided meditation at 7:00 p.m. Dinner is on your own.
Saturday has morning yoga and pranayama at 7:30 a.m., then private services and free time from 8:30 a.m. — massage, spinal energetics, pain therapy, sound healing, breathwork, hypnotherapy, sweat therapy are all available to book. At 10:00 a.m. there's a Discovering Your Inner Truth session with Nicole Akselrad, followed by a horse session with Lauren Stokes at 11:30 a.m., a sack lunch on site at noon, mocktail-making with Tame Grand County at 4:30 p.m., group dinner at Terrain Taco at 6:00 p.m., and a somatic or holotropic breathwork session at 7:00 p.m. with integration at 8:00 p.m.
Sunday wraps with morning yoga and pranayama at 8:00 a.m., a lecture on toxicity and escapism with Allison at 9:00 a.m., value mapping with Nicole Akselrad at 10:00 a.m., and integration, closing ceremony, and dismissal at 11:00 a.m. Breakfast is on your own each morning except where noted, and the final agenda is sent three weeks before the retreat starts.
What separates this from a generic wellness weekend is the specific lived experience Allison brings — she has been through divorce, miscarriage, death of loved ones, job loss, relocation, and reinvention, and the framework she teaches comes from that rather than from a textbook. The group is capped at eight, which keeps it intimate, and the mix of lectures, somatic work, art therapy, and downtime means you're not just sitting in circles talking. The venue is a house, not a hotel, so meals are cooked in the kitchen and eaten together at the table.
