Sensei is not a single retreat with a fixed weekly schedule. It is a group of three properties, each running its own wellness programming under the same Move, Nourish and Rest framework. What you do each day depends on the package you book and what the Sensei Guides and practitioners recommend once you arrive. The page does not publish a day-by-day timetable, so the exact shape of a stay is set with the team rather than printed in advance.
Sensei Lānaʻi, A Four Seasons Resort sits on Lānaʻi, described as Hawai‘i's most exclusive island, in the traditionally spiritual uplands of Kōʻele. The setting is expansive valleys and broad plateaus running down to the sea. The property pairs Four Seasons hospitality with Sensei's wellness programming, dining by Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa at Sensei by Nobu, and private spa hale. It is the original Sensei location and a partner retreat.
Sensei Porcupine Creek in Rancho Mirage, California, is the standalone property — a private estate on 230 acres in the secluded foothills of the Santa Rosa Mountains. The Estate House and private villas sit at the centre of the grounds. Guests here have access to a world-class golf course and tennis facilities, spa gardens, exercise and yoga pavilions, and dining at Sensei by Nobu. It is a desert setting, and the property is described as an oasis within it.
Sensei at Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is the first international partner retreat, on the Baja California coast in Los Cabos, Mexico. It is positioned near some of the peninsula's most notable locales, with spa grounds and accommodations, and Sensei's wellbeing experts running the programming inside the Ritz-Carlton Reserve setting.
The three properties have collected a long list of awards. Sensei Porcupine Creek appears in the Vogue Global Spa Guide for 2024, 2025 and 2026, the Sunset 2026 Travel Awards, the Condé Nast Traveler 2025 Reader's Choice Awards, the Travel Curator 2025 and 2026 Travel Awards, the Women's Health 2025 Travel Awards, Elite Traveler's 2024 World's Finest, the Men's Health 2023 Travel Awards, Esquire's 2023 Best New Hotels and Travel + Leisure's 2023 Best New Hotels. Sensei Lānaʻi holds the Condé Nast Traveler 2026 Triple Crown Award, the Vogue Global Spa Guide 2024, 2025 and 2026, Travel + Leisure's 2026 World's Best, the Sunset 2026 Travel Awards, US News and World Report's 2026 Best Resorts, the Condé Nast Traveler 2025 Reader's Choice Awards and the Women's Health 2024 Travel Awards.
