Home › Retreats › Solo Leadership Reset in the Puerto Rican Rainforest
Puerto Rico · 2 days
The day starts early. Tea, infused water and juice are out from 07:00, then a mindful movement class runs 07:30 to 08:30 on the rooftop, looking out over the national rainforest. Breakfast is 08:30 to 09:30 and it is local and organic. From 09:30 to 13:00 you are out on a guided rainforest adventure. Lunch is at 13:00, then 14:00 to 15:30 is integration time — the schedule says nap, relax, read or journal, and it means it. Beach exploration runs 15:30 to 17:30, and dinner is 19:00 to 20:30. Check-in is 15:00, check-out 11:00.
What separates this from a standard wellness week is the coaching layer. Meals are hosted with a professional coach and/or local practitioners, and you can add one-to-one Rapid Transformation Coaching sessions, which the team describes as work on identifying limiting patterns, clarifying goals and building practical strategies to take home. There is also a pre-arrival assessment, so the programme is put together around what you actually arrive with rather than a template.
The property leans on its setting. Rooms are described as designed to support deep sleep, with nature-inspired interiors, views to nature and comfortable beds and pillows. Water is filtered rainwater, and infused waters, local fruit juices, mocktails and teas are available through the day. Guests are given reminders to do deep belly breathing as a nervous-system reset.
The team publishes guest-reported outcomes: an 87% reduction in perceived stress, a 44% improvement in cortisol levels and an 8% reduction in systolic blood pressure. Those are the operator's own reported figures, not independently verified results.
The retreat is explicitly built for career professionals and leaders — executives wanting clarity, people addressing burnout, creatives, and anyone navigating a life transition. It is not a fitness camp: the movement class is gentle and the activity is walking, swimming and being outdoors. If you have never done a retreat before, the team says no prior experience is needed and facilitators guide you through at your own comfort level.
