Check-in opens at 13:00 on day one and the first somatic de-armoring session begins at 18:00, followed by dinner. From there the days settle into a rhythm: morning energy work, a midday trauma release workshop, then a deep breathwork session in the late afternoon. Sessions run 10:30 to 13:30 and 16:30 to 19:00, with the morning movement and breathwork block left optional so you can sleep in or sit quietly if your body needs the time.
The centrepiece is the SOMA Experience, which pairs paced breathing with brainwave-entraining music and guided visualisation. The aim is to move into theta brainwave states and let the body discharge stored tension. Day three adds the SOMA Induction, where a Tibetan herbal concoction is served to support emotional release. Alongside this sit Tibetan practices — Trul Khor, Tsa Lung, Bon Yoga and pranayama — taught by Yogi Kiran, plus classical yoga and breathwork with Aacharyā Padma Mandapaka.
What separates this from a general yoga weekend is the combination of lineage teaching and structured breath science in one programme, run by people who have each been at it for close to three decades. Kiran trained in the Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyu lineage and lists Bon Yoga, Trul Khor, Vajrayana, Tsa Lung, advanced Kriya, Ashtanga and Kundalini Yoga among his specialisms. Padma works from authentic Patanjali practice and has run yoga wellness programmes in Hyderabad for 30 years.
The venue is Mrugavani Resort, a four-minute walk from Mrugavani National Park. Rooms have flat-screen TVs and air conditioning, and the grounds include a pool, a spa, a sauna, a garden and a yoga shala or deck. Meals are freshly prepared organic vegetarian, farm-to-table, served three times a day with tea and snacks in the evening. The final integration masterclass on departure day wraps up at 11:30, with check-out at 14:00.
