Brittany · 3 days · From EUR 360
You arrive on the first afternoon between 15:00 and 16:00, settle into your room and get shown around the inn. At 17:00 there's a short introduction to the weekend and the two instructors. Then comes an hour-and-a-quarter of gentle yoga to shake off the drive, followed by a vegetarian dinner at 19:30.
Day two is the full day. It opens with an hour of Vinyasa at 8:00, focused on opening the hips, which helps when you're trying to pop up on a board. Breakfast follows, and from 10:00 to 12:30 you're in the water with Flo. Transport to the beach and all surf gear are included. The afternoon is free, so you can go to the beach, cycle to the Carnac alignments, nap, or make lunch in the shared kitchen. The group has dinner together at 18:30, and the day closes with a Yin class aimed at post-surf recovery: long, supported holds that work into tired shoulders and hips.
Day three follows the same rhythm, starting with a heart-opening Vinyasa class at 8:00 and breakfast. The last surf lesson starts at 10:00. Around 13:00 the group gathers to wrap up and talk through the weekend, and people head off from 15:00. The organisers note that times can shift with the tides, especially the surf slots.
This is a short, low-commitment format compared with a week-long surf camp. You get two proper two-hour lessons rather than a single taster, and the yoga is built around the surfing instead of running alongside it. The morning classes prepare the specific areas surfing uses, and the evening Yin class deals with the soreness afterwards. Souvenir photos are included, so you'll have shots of yourself on the board.
Leslye leads all four yoga classes, mixing gentle Vinyasa with Yin. Flo runs the surf side. He knows the local breaks well and chooses the spot each day to suit the group, whether you've never stood on a board or already have some balance.
Erdeven sits on a long stretch of Atlantic coastline on the Quiberon Bay side of Morbihan. The Carnac alignments, thousands of Neolithic standing stones, are close by, as is the Gulf of Morbihan with its scattered islands. Free afternoons give you time to see at least one of them.
