Train Muay Thai Alongside World Champions in Bangkok

Train Muay Thai Alongside World Champions in Bangkok

Thailand · 7 days

A typical day is built around two training sessions. Mornings are the main technical block: skipping, shadow work, pad rounds with a trainer, bag work and clinch. Afternoons repeat with more pad time and conditioning, and professional fighters on the roster train in the same space. The camp's own coaching notes give a sense of the detail — one recent post covers knee placement on the bag (aim for your midsection or higher), another breaks down how Janjao wraps a fighter's hands before a bout.

What separates this from a resort Muay Thai holiday is the fight record. The camp publishes results for its athletes: Sitthichai vs Tyjani Beztati in Lille, France (win by KO, 2018); Thongchai vs Eyevan Danenburg in Rotterdam (loss on points, 2018); Janjao at the WLF 8-Man Tournament in Zheng Zhou, China; Buakiew winning at Asiatique. Guests are training in the gym those fighters come out of.

The trainers are the camp's core asset. The page names the Sitsongpeenong training team and its champion fighters — Rungrawee and Satanfah Sitsongpeenong among them — but does not list individual trainers' names, records or certifications, so ask directly when booking.

Accommodation is on site and described as hotel-standard, which matters in Bangkok: you are not commuting across the city between sessions. The gym sits in Bangkok, and the camp runs its own Muay Thai gear store (competition, sparring, training and bag gloves, plus pads) if you need kit.

There is also a media side to the camp — fight videos, highlights, photos from before and after competitions, and a monthly newsletter. If you want to compete rather than just train, the infrastructure for it is here; if you only want to train hard, the twice-daily schedule still stands.
