This is a stay for anyone who wants to live rural Umbria from the inside. Casale Fusco grew from a family's long attachment to the land, and the working farm still follows the rhythm of the seasons and local farming tradition. Guests can watch the fieldwork and farm life up close, among centuries-old olive groves, vineyards and fruit trees.

The experiences are where you get to know the region best. In an Italian cooking class, the farm's cook, who has more than forty years of experience, teaches traditional Umbrian dishes, from handmade pasta to the classic sauces. You can join a guided truffle hunt on the estate, ride out with professional guides along trails and rural hills (suitable for beginners), and explore Spoleto and the rest of Umbria with local specialist guides.

At the table, the farm restaurant serves traditional recipes cooked with km-zero produce from the farm itself: its own extra virgin olive oil, wine, artisanal jams and seasonal ingredients.

Back at the farmhouse, a restored old country house built of stone and wood, there is a panoramic pool overlooking the hills, shaded gardens, and rooms with views over the olive groves towards the Monti Sibillini. Yoga and wellness lessons with a local instructor are also available. It makes a good base for Spoleto, the Umbrian hill towns, nature trails and food-and-wine routes.
