Home › Retreats › Unleash Your Fitness Potential: A 5-Day All-Inclusive Fitness and Yoga Retreat in the Mountains of Málaga
Andalusia · 5 days · From EUR 1095
The villa sits in the hills above Málaga province, roughly 30 minutes from the airport and the same from the beach. Mornings start early with a 60-75 minute strength and conditioning session — kettlebells, bodyweight circuits, resistance bands, and whatever equipment is set up on the terrace or in the training area. After breakfast there's a yoga class of around 60 minutes, mostly vinyasa and mobility work aimed at undoing what the training did to your hips and shoulders. The rest of the day is yours.
Afternoons tend to split three ways. Some people head down to the coast for a swim and a late lunch in one of the beach towns. Some walk the trails straight from the villa — there are marked routes into the hills that take one to three hours depending on how far you go. Others just lie by the pool with a book. There's usually a second, shorter training session or a workshop in the late afternoon — sometimes mobility, sometimes a technique session on a lift people are struggling with, sometimes a group hike.
Evenings are dinner at the villa, eaten together at a long table, followed by whatever people feel like — a film, cards, an early night. Nothing is compulsory. If you'd rather skip a yoga class and drive to the beach, that's fine; the trainers will point you at the good spots.
What separates this from a standard fitness holiday is the group size and the fact the same trainers are with you the whole week. With eight people maximum, sessions get adjusted mid-class — a regression here, an extra set there. Over five days that adds up to more than you'd get from dropping into a different class every day at a bigger resort.
The food is cooked at the villa by the on-site team: proper breakfasts, lunches you can take to the pool or pack for a hike, and a hot dinner most nights. It's Mediterranean-leaning and generous rather than restrictive, and dietary needs are handled if you flag them when booking.
Accommodation is in the villa itself — a mix of double and twin rooms, some with en-suite bathrooms and some sharing. It's a comfortable house rather than a hotel: shared living space, a pool outside, terraces with views over the valley, and enough quiet corners that you can disappear for an hour if you need to.
