Wellness Reset Yoga and Breathwork Escape in Playa del Carmen

This is a 5-day, one-on-one retreat in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, that focuses on yoga, breathwork, and meditation. It's fully personalized: before you arrive, you'll have a video call to talk about what you want to get out of the week, and the schedule is built around that. Each day can shift as needed, so it's not a rigid plan.

Mornings typically start with a private yoga session—Hatha, Tantra, Yin, depending on what you need—followed by breathwork and meditation. The afternoons are often open for you to relax, swim, kayak, visit the beach, or have another session. The exact mix is up to you and your guides.

The setting is a modern condo in a gated community, surrounded by jungle and a lagoon. The space includes a gym, a yoga studio, several pools, and places to walk. Your meals are prepared by a private chef, and the food is Mexican, with options for vegetarian, seafood, grass-fed beef, and more.

What makes this retreat different is its small scale. It's just you, so everything is tailored to your intention, and the guides are experienced. Mariposa is a yoga teacher and breathwork facilitator, and Shaman Peter brings a background in kinesiology and Chinese medicine. They combine their approaches to address what you bring, whether that's stress, a desire to deepen your practice, or something else.
