Yoga and Wellbeing Retreats at a Restored 1752 Farmhouse in the French Vosges

Days at the Vogesenhof are shaped by the seminar running that week. The house holds its own programmes on alternative health promotion and maintenance from 2026, on selected dates, each led by a qualified teacher. Sessions take place in the 120 m² yoga room, which has windows across the valley. The seminars are open to beginners and to people who have practised for years.

What separates this from a purpose-built retreat centre is the building itself. It is a historic house from 1752, restored with care rather than replaced. Guests eat regional, seasonal cooking, made fresh in the house kitchen. Massages — foot reflexology, energy massage, wellness massage, head and face massage — are booked individually alongside the programme, and the house makes its own natural cosmetics, herb mixes and incense on site.

The setting does a lot of the work. The Vogesenhof sits in the middle of the French Vosges, surrounded by forest, moss and clear clearings. Guests who want time away from the group can take it: the house is set up for private breaks, holidays with friends and family time as well as seminars. Bianca and Tom live on site and host.
