Home › Retreats › Yoga & Pilates Retreat by the Sea in Spain
Spain · 7 days
Days start with yoga, usually before breakfast, taught by the team's teachers. Depending on which week you book, the movement side is either yoga alone or a mix of yoga and Pilates. Breathwork and meditation sessions run alongside the physical practice, so there's more than just stretching on the schedule.
After the morning session there's breakfast, then free time. Some afternoons have optional activities — the kind that are fun but also good for you — and you can join or skip them without any awkwardness. Evenings are relaxed. This is not a bootcamp and nobody is checking whether you turned up.
What separates this from a lot of yoga retreats is the room situation. Solo guests are never asked to share. You get your own en-suite room as standard, which matters if you're travelling alone and don't want to spend a week negotiating with a stranger over the light switch.
The retreats are all by the sea. The team is based in Spain and has been running these trips for over a decade, with a repeat guest list and reviews to match. They've been listed among the top ten yoga retreats in the world.
Food is Mediterranean and cooked on site — fresh vegetables, olive oil, fish, that kind of thing — and it's a big part of why people come back. The team also sends out a free guide on getting the most out of a retreat when you sign up to their list.
