Croatia · From EUR 1450
Spend a week on the beautiful island of Brač, on Croatia's Dalmatian coast, at the family-run beachfront Villa Gumonca in the village of Mirca. This seven-day yoga retreat pairs daily dynamic and restorative practice with the slow rhythm of island life - morning sessions on the terrace, long swims in the Adriatic, and time to simply rest.
Your days balance movement and exploration. Twice-daily yoga is led by Manuela Huber (E-RYT500), whose teaching draws on Katonah and Vinyasa yoga, with host and guide Sasha Dakic (E-RYT200) looking after the group throughout. Between practices you'll hike Vidova Gora, the highest peak in the Croatian islands, visit the famous Zlatni Rat beach, hop by boat to neighbouring Šolta, wander the Jakšić stone-art gallery, and share a wine tasting and fine dinner at the Senjković winery.
Meals are a highlight: two generous servings a day (brunch and dinner) plus snacks, prepared by chef Kruno Vuljar from fresh, seasonal produce bought from local farmers - primarily vegetarian and vegan, with gluten-free options. The villa itself has a pool, jacuzzi, garden and direct beach access, and hosts just thirteen guests at a time for a genuinely intimate week.
Whether you come solo, as a couple or with friends, and whether you're new to yoga or well-practised, this is a week to move, eat well, explore a gorgeous island and come home lighter.
