The training runs in three stages. Discover is the 50-hour Foundation over 6 days: asana fundamentals and alignment, an introduction to anatomy, yoga history and philosophy, and a closer look at your own practice. You also observe how classes are taught and what makes one safe and well structured. It suits people who want to deepen their practice, are unsure about teaching, or want a base before going further.
Grow is the 100-hour Teaching Confidence stage over 13 days. It adds pranayama and breathwork, biomechanics and functional movement, injury awareness and safer teaching practices, and the practical side of teaching: class planning and sequencing, communication and instruction, guided teaching practice in small groups, and feedback and mentoring. By the end you have started to develop your own teaching style.
Lead is the 200-hour Professional Certification over 24 days. It covers comprehensive asana study, pranayama and meditation, anatomy, biomechanics and injury awareness, history and philosophy, professional teaching methodology, sequencing and lesson planning, demonstration and cueing, yoga ethics and teacher responsibilities, and professional development. The final stretch is supervised practical teaching with real retreat guests, plus individual feedback and mentoring.
Because all three stages start together as one cohort, the room is a mix of people doing a week and people staying a month. That is useful if you are on the fence: you train alongside people who have committed to the full certification.
Accommodation is optional and priced separately from tuition. The quoted programme prices include a twin room; if you would rather sort your own place in Ao Nang, tuition-only rates are available on request. Deluxe rooms are also offered for more privacy. The retreat is in Ao Nang, Krabi, on Thailand's Andaman coast.
