28-Day Advanced Yoga Teacher Training & Wellness Immersion in Bali

Ubud · 28 days · From USD 2275 (indicative)

This 28-day advanced yoga teacher training is designed for those who have already completed a 200-hour certification and are ready to deepen both their practice and their teaching skills. If you want to move beyond the basics and learn how to confidently lead classes, refine your alignment, and understand the philosophy behind what you teach, this programme at DivinePath Yoga School in Ubud offers a thorough grounding in all of it. Some experienced practitioners without formal training may be accepted with the teacher's permission, but this is primarily a 300-hour course for those building on an existing foundation.

The training covers advanced asana technique across Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa styles, alongside anatomy, philosophy, and the practical side of running a class. You will spend time not just practising poses but learning how to explain and adjust them, developing the confidence to guide others safely. Workshops on pranayama, shatkarmas, Sanskrit, mantra chanting, and Ayurveda basics round out the curriculum, while regular practice teaching sessions with feedback help you find your voice as an instructor.

Ubud is a quiet, culturally rich corner of Bali, and the DivinePath campus sits among rice terraces and lush greenery about 45 minutes from Denpasar Airport. The accommodation includes air-conditioned private or shared rooms, each with a private bathroom and natural light. Open-air practice spaces, a tranquil garden, a swimming pool, and a shared lounge give you room to stretch out, cool off, or connect with fellow students. A small on-site farm supplies vegetables for the kitchen, and the rural setting supports the inward focus this kind of training asks of you.

A typical day begins around half past six with pranayama and meditation, followed by a long morning asana practice. After lunch, the afternoons are given over to anatomy lectures, philosophy discussions, and teaching methodology, so you are learning to articulate what you experience on the mat. Evenings often include restorative yoga, sound healing, kirtan, or Yoga Nidra. Excursions such as a water temple visit, a sunrise hike, and a Balinese cooking class break up the study, and every seven days or so there is a free day to explore Ubud, rest by the pool, or simply do nothing at all.

The price includes 28 nights of accommodation, three daily vegetarian meals plus snacks and fresh fruit, the full 300-hour training and Yoga Alliance registration, all excursions and workshops, nature hikes with a guide, evening activities, transportation during the retreat, and all yoga equipment. Flights, airport transfers, travel insurance, visa fees, spa treatments, and personal expenses are not included. A private room is available for 2370 USD, while a shared room is 2275 USD per person.
