A typical day starts with a glass of mineral water from the pump room, taken on the schedule the head doctor sets at your first consultation. The Medical Spa Centre runs programmes written by the resort's chief physician, built around professional cosmetics and medical procedures. Each programme targets something specific: figure correction, detox and changing how you eat, recovery, stress, or immune resistance. That gives a stay here a clearer point than a general spa weekend. You leave with a plan put together by a doctor, not just a few massages.
For movement, there's a modern gym and a yoga room indoors. The grounds are big enough for long walks, and the surrounding Carpathian slopes are good for proper hikes and picnics by the river. The wider region also offers cycling and quad riding if you want something faster.
In the afternoons, the aqua zone is where most people end up. It has swimming pools, saunas and jacuzzis, and all of it is included in the accommodation price. The bathhouse offers special procedures run by a specialist, and the outdoor Carpathian vat is the spot to sit in hot water and look at the mountains, especially in the evening.
The area is known for its mineral springs. Nearby Skhidnytsia alone has more than 38 springs, with hydrocarbonate, ferruginous and alkaline waters traditionally used for digestion, kidney and liver health, metabolism and immunity. The resort's pump room brings the most effective waters of the region together in one place, so you don't have to travel between sources.
Families get more out of this than out of most spa hotels. Children have their own wellness programmes, a Fairy House, a children's spa, a playground and a daily activity schedule. Parents can book treatments knowing the kids are busy.
