The retreat runs for five days at the school's base in Mandrem, North Goa. The programme covers traditional yoga practice — asana, pranayama and meditation — alongside anatomy, philosophy and teaching methodology. It is the same body of material the school teaches on its 200-hour trainings, condensed into a shorter stay.

Morning practice is led by Yogi Akhilesh, the school's founder. He has over 20 years of Hatha and Ashtanga practice behind him, trained in Mysore under the Pattabhi Jois lineage, and holds E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance USA.
