If you have been drawn to sound as a way of supporting wellbeing and would like to share it with others, this eight-day, seven-night Sound Healing Teacher Training on Hawaii's Big Island takes you from first principles to teaching level in one immersive course. It covers Levels I to IV, so you build your understanding step by step. You begin with the foundations and finish ready to guide others with knowledge and confidence.

The training starts with the history and science of sound as a therapeutic modality, giving you a clear grounding in why and how this work is used. From there you move into advanced, instructor-level practice with Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, voice and chakra balancing. The course is hands-on throughout, with live demonstrations that let you see each technique in action before trying it yourself. With the group capped at 15 students, you can expect close attention and plenty of guidance as your skills develop.

You will be learning on the Big Island, in a setting amid nature and trees, which offers a peaceful backdrop for listening closely and working with sound. If you choose a residential package, your accommodation is set within these natural surroundings, so you can stay close to the practice from morning to evening.

Each training day follows a steady, well-paced rhythm. You open with a sound session from 08:30 to 09:15, followed by breakfast, and then continue with two further sound sessions through the morning, from 09:30 to 11:00 and from 11:15 to 12:45. Lunch is served from 13:00 to 13:45, after which you have an hour for rest and self-study. The afternoon is given to sound healing practice from 15:00 to 17:00, a chance to put what you have learned into use. Your evenings are free to rest, reflect or explore at your own pace.

Residential guests enjoy a healthy, organic breakfast and lunch each day. Every student receives the Sound Healing Training Manual, along with journaling supplies and school materials, and the course draws to a close with a closing ceremony. On graduating, you receive Level IV SHVSA certification with 80 hours of YACEP credits. Optional add-ons, such as an Ayurveda consultation and private sessions, are available separately.

You can choose the package that suits you best. A private room is 5000 USD and a shared room is 4500 USD; both include the full Level I–IV training, accommodation, daily organic breakfast and lunch, the manual, certification and materials. If you would rather arrange your own stay, the non-residential option is 3000 USD and covers the training only, without accommodation or meals. Flights and airport transfers, dinner and drinks outside scheduled meals, and travel insurance are not included, so you will want to plan for these before you travel.
