The retreat starts at 16:00 on Friday and finishes at 14:00 on Sunday, so you get two nights and roughly two full days. The teaching is practical: Parasha Ji takes you through breath awareness first, then concentration (Dhāraṇā), then Trāṭaka (steady gazing), Yoga Nidra and witness meditation. These are traditional yogic techniques for settling and training the mind, taught in sequence rather than as a taster menu.

Two parts of the weekend stand out. One is a morning of silence — a stretch of the retreat where nobody speaks. The other is sunset meditation by the Ganga, which puts you on the riverbank in Rishikesh at the end of the day.

The group is limited to eight spots, which keeps the room small and means Parasha Ji can actually work with each person. It also means the weekend stays quiet, which matters for a meditation retreat.

Accommodation is a shared room at the ashram, and all sattvic meals are included in the residential price. If you live locally or are staying elsewhere in Rishikesh, the day-guest option covers the programme without the room.
