British Columbia · From USD 3860
This is a women-only week in Whistler for anyone who wants to pair real days on the mountain with genuine recovery. It welcomes all levels: groups are split by ability, so whether you ski with confidence or are still finding your feet, you will be placed with others at a similar stage and looked after accordingly. With a maximum of eight guests, it stays small and personal from start to finish.
The week blends mountain sport with proper rest. You will spend five guided days on the lift-accessed terrain at Whistler-Blackcomb, with groups split by ability and a professional mountain guide alongside you. One full day takes you into the backcountry for ski touring with IFMGA-certified guides, including avalanche rescue training, so you build real skills as well as mileage. Around the skiing sits daily yoga and meditation, a visit to the Scandinave spa for hydrotherapy, sauna and cold plunge, and chef-cooked meals throughout, giving your body the recovery it needs between days out.
Everything is based at a private, LUX-owned house in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, shared between the group for six nights. The house is the heart of the week: meals prepared by the private chef, daily yoga and meditation, and the opening and closing ceremonies all happen here, which gives the whole retreat a relaxed, home-from-home feel. Ground transportation is included for getting to the resort, the trailhead and the spa, so the logistics are taken care of while you are there.
A typical day starts gently and builds around the mountain. After arrival and settling in on the first evening, with a welcome dinner by the private chef and an opening circle, the days move between skiing or riding on Whistler-Blackcomb, time on the slopes with your guide, and evenings that often include yoga and a chef-cooked dinner. The backcountry day is more demanding and involves touring, so a reasonable level of mountain fitness will help you get the most from it. A recovery day at the Scandinave spa gives you space to rest, with optional resort riding if you would rather keep moving, and the week closes with a final full day on the slopes, a group dinner in the village, and a last morning of yoga, a closing ceremony and farewell breakfast before you depart.
The package is all-inclusive on the ground. It covers six nights in the private house, five days of lift-accessed skiing or riding at Whistler-Blackcomb, the full backcountry touring day with IFMGA-certified guides, avalanche rescue training, and a private chef for all meals, afternoon tea and on-slope snacks. Daily yoga and meditation, the Scandinave spa visit, ground transportation, the opening and closing ceremonies, a vision-board session and a LUX welcome gift are all included too.
A few things sit outside the price: your airfare to Vancouver (YVR), travel insurance, which is required, alcoholic beverages, guide and chef gratuities, and personal ski or snowboard equipment, though rentals are available. An airport shuttle to and from Vancouver can be arranged as an add-on. Do get in touch if you would like advice on reaching Whistler and any specialist touring kit before you travel.
