Women's Ski Trip Japan — Niseko, Rusutsu & Kiroro Powder Week

Japan · From USD 4700

This is a women's powder week in Hokkaido, open to all levels, built for those who want to chase Japan's famous snow without having to organise a thing. Whether you are a confident skier or finding your feet on a board, you will ski with local certified snow guides who can tailor the days across three resorts — Niseko, Rusutsu and Kiroro. A reasonable level of general fitness will help you make the most of the powder days, and the daily yoga, mobility and breathwork sessions are built in to help you recover and keep going.

The week is spent across three of Hokkaido's standout resorts. Niseko anchors the trip with three days of skiing, including gate skiing conditions permitting, before you move on to Rusutsu's tree-lined terrain and Kiroro's quieter slopes and quality snow. Expect the best of 'JAPOW', with avalanche safety education included so you understand the mountains you are riding. Throughout, your base is a private luxury villa shared by a group of no more than eight, which doubles as the setting for in-villa experiences like the sushi-making class.

A typical day combines guided skiing with proper recovery and good food. Mornings begin with a chef-prepared breakfast in the villa before heading out with your guide; your three-day Niseko lift pass covers the Niseko days, with one-day passes each for Rusutsu and Kiroro. Afternoons and evenings bring daily onsen visits to ease tired legs, with four yoga, mobility and breathwork classes spread across the week and all equipment provided. Lunches are taken on the mountain, so there is no rush to be back for the middle of the day. Exact daily timings are not fixed here, so it is worth confirming the detailed schedule with the organiser.

Food is a real part of the experience. Alongside daily breakfasts, all dinners are included — five of them at local restaurants — plus the in-villa sushi-making class as a cultural touch. If you have specific dietary requirements or allergies, let the organiser know in advance so arrangements can be made. Alcoholic beverages and mountain lunches are not included.

The Women's Ski Week package is 4700 USD and runs as an all-inclusive week from the private villa. Over seven nights you have your accommodation, private airport transfers on both arrival and departure, all your lift passes, daily breakfasts and all dinners, daily onsen visits, the yoga and mobility programme, your local snow guides, avalanche safety education and a LUX Life goodie bag. You will need to arrange your own flights to New Chitose (CTS) in Hokkaido — the organiser can advise on timings so your transfer lines up — and travel insurance is required. Not included are airfare, insurance, mountain lunches, alcohol, gratuities for guides and hosts, and ski or snowboard gear, though rentals are available.

It is a week designed to let you focus on the snow and on yourself: guided days in some of the world's best powder, warm onsen evenings, shared dinners and the easy company of a small group of women, all run from one comfortable base.
