Italy · 5 days · From EUR 350 (indicative)
The retreat runs from Friday 29 May to Tuesday 2 June 2026, five days and four nights. Arrival is from 14:00 on the Friday, with a foot reflexology treatment available for anyone who gets there early. The first yoga session is at 18:30 or 19:00 in the yoga room, introducing the theme of the full moon, followed by dinner around 20:00 and an evening of self-administered foot reflexology.
Saturday is the fullest day. Yoga before breakfast, then a packed lunch and a guided hike with two environmental hiking guides and Forest Bathing instructors. The walk covers local flora, fauna, traditions and legends, and ends at a hamlet in the woods where the group practises yoga and plays drums. Back around 16:00, there is time for an optional full-body massage at extra cost, then yoga at 18:30 and a detox dinner at 20:00. After dinner, astrologer and numerologist Minuta Ghioc (Mina) gives a talk on the moon, planets and sun.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday follow a similar shape: morning yoga at a time agreed the day before, breakfast, then a guided walk with a different focus each day. One day covers the healing properties of wild plants, another meditation among the trees using an instrument that turns plant frequencies into music. The group visits the Grotta della Beaume. Afternoons bring short stretching sessions and shamanic journeying following the method of anthropologist Michael Harner: the lower world on day one, the upper world on day two. Tuesday afternoon is spent making a personal 'power object', followed by a closing circle around 16:00.
What separates this from a standard yoga week is the mix of guides. Laura Eynard leads the yoga and holds the NaturYoga method together; Massimo Abbà, an environmental hiking guide and Forest Bathing instructor, brings alpine tradition and music, from guitar and harmonium to mantra; Patricia Galli handles the reflexology and holistic counselling; Mina covers astrology and numerology. If the weather turns, everything moves indoors to the yoga room and the B&B, which the organisers say are shielded from electrosmog.
The setting is the Alta Valle di Susa, a mountain valley an hour or so west of Turin on the French border, with old stone villages, larch and pine forest, and high trails. Oulx itself has a historic centre of narrow streets and stone houses. The retreat is priced for members of the organising sports association; non-members join for €20 a year.
