The core of the programme is a three-week, 200-hour teacher training in Costa Rica. Students work on the asanas and on how to teach them, and past participants say the training also changed how they bring yoga into daily life. One review from Hannah Marshall describes the three weeks as fulfilling, rewarding and fun, and credits the course with building her confidence in teaching.

Anabel Miranda leads the training. She has been teaching yoga since 2005 and now blends traditional yoga with Tai Chi, with a focus on feminine energy and the natural world. She is bilingual and bicultural, and reviews single out her depth of knowledge and her encouragement of students.

The group is deliberately kept small. The academy says this lets Anabel build a real connection with each participant rather than teaching a large cohort from the front. Students join a community the academy describes as earth-loving and life-celebrating.

On certification, graduates can register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200hr level, since the academy is an RYS. Beyond the in-person training, the academy also offers online and in-person mentorships, courses and classes.
