Colombia has become a serious destination for people who want to train properly rather than fit a few classes around a holiday. The fight camps and martial arts retreats on this page are built around a private villa, a small group and a named coach, and they run in two parts of the country: the warm hill country around Anapoima, a few hours from Bogotá, and the Medellín area.
Programmes come in two lengths. The five-day MMA retreat in Anapoima runs from 2 to 6 December 2026, with four nights at the villa and a group of no more than 12, led by the Fighters Retreat house coaches. The seven-day retreats give you six nights at the villa and a group capped at 12, and each is led by a named fighter or coach: Terrance "T.Wrecks" McKinney in Anapoima from 19 to 25 January 2027, Giorgio "The Doctor" Petrosyan for a week of kickboxing in Anapoima from 10 to 16 March 2027, and Carlos "The Nightmare" Prates in the Medellín area from 24 to 30 March 2027. If you would rather set your own dates, the private villa retreat gives a group of up to 10 the house to yourselves for seven days, with the house coaching team shaping the training around what you want to work on.
These suit adults who want two sessions a day and a small group, whether you are travelling alone or bringing friends. Prices run from 3200 USD to 10900 USD.

How much do the fight camps in Colombia cost?
On this page they start at 3200 USD for the five-day MMA retreat in Anapoima and rise to 10900 USD for the seven-day private villa retreat for your own group. How long are the retreats?

Where in Colombia do these camps take place?
Most programmes on this page are at a private villa near Anapoima, in the warm hill country outside Bogotá, a few hours from the city. The seven-day camp with Carlos Prates is at a private villa in the Medellín area. The private villa retreat can be booked in Anapoima or Medellín.
Which martial arts are taught?
Most of the camps on this page are MMA, including the five-day retreat with the house coaches, the seven-day camp with Carlos Prates and the seven-day camp with Terrance McKinney. The week with Giorgio Petrosyan is kickboxing, focused on striking.
Who coaches the sessions?
It depends on the camp. Carlos Prates, Terrance McKinney and Giorgio Petrosyan each coach their own week.
