7-Night Weight Loss and Fitness Camp in the Girona Countryside, Spain

The week combines exercise sessions, guided walks and healthy nutrition with what the operator calls sustainable lifestyle change. Training happens both outside, in the shaded areas of the grounds, and in the indoor training area, so the programme runs whatever the weather. The two pools and the all-weather tennis court are available on site between sessions.

The walks are a core part of the week rather than an add-on. The Barcelona boardwalk is around 40 minutes from the villa, and the Costa Brava coastal walk is about 15 minutes away. The operator states the walks are designed for all fitness levels, so beginners and intermediate exercisers can both take part.

Accommodation is in a traditional farmhouse-style villa with plenty of space. Guests choose between single occupancy, twin and triple rooms, all with air conditioning and views over the grounds. The plot is 10,000 square metres, with two swimming pools, an all-weather tennis court, shaded outdoor training space and an indoor training area.

Jane and Stephen run the airport meet-and-greet and escort guests from Barcelona Airport to the villa, a drive of roughly 40 minutes. Free transfers from the airport are part of the package. The operator describes itself as the original FitFarms and says it has been featured on TV.

An optional aftercare programme is available after the residential course, and the operator mentions an ITV fitness guru in connection with it. The page does not name that person or give further detail on what the aftercare involves.
